Australia takes bronze medal

PENANG, Malaysia (Reuter): Two first-half goals by left-
winger Greg Corbitt drove Australia to a 4-0 victory over
Malaysia and the bronze medal at the Sultan Rajah Azlam Shah
yesterday.

It was a degree of consolation for Olympic silver medallists
Australia whose 3-1 group match defeat by Malaysia contributed
largely to their failure to make the final.

Corbitt scored from Australia's first corner of the third
place play-off in the fifth minute with a powerful flick and
added his second from a pass by David Wansbrough.
