Australia students questioned
SEMARANG, Central Java: Two Australian students, Stuart Munckton, 20, and Mary Little, 21, have been questioned by immigration officials following involvement in a demonstration during Wednesday's Human Rights Day.
They were detained by police after taking pictures of the demonstration held by the Public Alliance on Human Rights.
Antara quoted District Military Commander Lt. Col. Supriyatno as saying that the two students' involvement indicated the possibility of an international network.
The two Australian students arrived in Indonesia on Nov. 29 with a tourist visa, valid until Jan. 29, 1998, saying they were looking for an art school. (mds)
