Audi Sells Only One Car in Indonesia During June 2026
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Competition in Indonesia’s automotive industry is intensifying with the arrival of numerous new brands. However, not every player manages to record strong sales. One brand sold only a single car throughout June 2026.
Data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers (Gaikindo) shows that, based on factory-to-dealer distribution (wholesales), Audi posted the lowest sales of any brand in June 2026.
Over the past month, Audi registered just one unit sold. Above Audi, Volvo Cars managed only 8 units, followed by Scania with 10, Maxus with 18 and Volkswagen with 18.
Looking at dealer-to-consumer sales (retail sales), the picture is little different. Audi again recorded the fewest sales, with just 1 unit throughout June 2026.
At the bottom of the retail sales table, Volvo Cars sold 8 units, Subaru 9, Scania 10, Maxus 15 and Volkswagen 19.
Overall, the national automotive market continued to grow in June 2026. Gaikindo recorded wholesale sales of 77,550 units, up 32.9% from June 2025’s 58,363 units. Meanwhile, retail sales reached 74,507 units, growing 19.6% year on year.
