Audi S3 Verve Edition Launches, priced at Rp 1.8 billion
Jakarta - With high-performance cars currently trending towards aggressive and rigid appearances, PT Garuda MataramMotor, Audi’s Indonesian distributor, has taken a different approach. Audi Indonesia has officially launched the new Audi S3 Verve Edition, a special edition of the S3 line that surprises local car enthusiasts with its iconic DistrictGreen colour. This premium sedan is claimed to be a new interpretation of progressive performance, combining 333 horsepower output, the legendary quattro all-wheel-drive system, and more expressive visual characteristics.
Colour often forms the primary impression of a vehicle. For the Verve edition, this is conveyed through DistrictGreen, an exclusive colour that serves not just to attract attention but as a strong modern identity. The gradient effect of this colour creates different visual dimensions depending on lighting conditions; it appears more assertive under midday sun and cinematic under evening light.
The sedan’s sporty character is supported by balanced body proportions. On the wheels, Audi has fitted 19-inch wheels with a 5-Y-spoke design, with the aesthetic further emphasised by the Audi S line package. Under the hood, the S3 Verve Edition retains its performance DNA with a turbocharged 2.0-litre TFSi four-cylinder petrol engine producing maximum power of 333 horsepower and peak torque of 420 Newton metres. This power is sent to all wheels via a seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission, allowing the compact sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
However, for Audi, performance isn’t solely about numbers. The legendary quattro system delivers optimal traction and precise handling, claimed to boost driver confidence when cornering and maintain stability across various road conditions. The handling is further enhanced by S Sport suspension and torque splitter features, offering responsive driving without compromising the comfort of a modern luxury sedan.
Additional features include Audi drive select with six driving modes, including dynamic plus mode, allowing drivers to adjust the car’s character to suit preferences and road conditions. The progressive luxury identity is also evident in the exterior lighting, which features Matrix LED headlights with dynamic lighting signatures for sharp visibility and a modern appearance in low-light conditions.
