Attracting Major Investments, Immigration Launches Golden Visa

Director General of Immigration Silmy Karim stated on Saturday (2/9) that regulations regarding the Golden Visa have come into effect, offering a range of exclusive services to foreigners. “This is in support of the national economy,” he said. The Golden Visa policy is reinforced by Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No. 22 of 2023 and Minister of Finance Regulation No. 82 of 2023, which were issued on 30 August. This visa is intended for foreigners with specific qualifications, in the hope that it will bring benefits to the country’s economic development. One of these aspects relates to capital investment.
