The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) will auction assets seized from convicts, ranging from vehicles and jewellery to luxury bags.

Head of the Legal Information Centre of Kejagung, Anang Supriatna, stated that these items will officially be auctioned at the BPA Fair 2026.

He assured that the items to be auctioned have final and binding legal force from the court. All auction proceeds will be deposited with the state.

“Clearly, the assets that have final and binding legal force or are inkracht, and these assets originate from criminal cases, with the auction proceeds to be deposited into the state treasury,” he told reporters, quoted on Thursday (30/4).

Anang did not provide further details on the seized items to be auctioned. He only mentioned that the items include those from convicts in the tin governance corruption case, ASABRI, and robot trading fraud.

“There are items from the Harvey Moeis et al. case, from the Jimmy Sutopo case, Doni Salmanan, and others,” he said.

Nevertheless, the BPA Fair website has displayed several items or assets to be auctioned, namely several luxury vehicles such as a Ferrari car, McLaren, and Doni Salmanan’s Ducati motorbike.

The BPA Fair website also displays jewellery and luxury bags, including those belonging to actress Sandra Dewi, who is the wife of the defendant in the tin case, Harvey Moeis.

The series of BPA Fair activities will take place from 18 May to 22 May 2026. Head of BPA Kejagung, Kuntadi, said this event is conducted in the hope of optimising the recovery and management of state assets.

Anang stated that the BPA Fair is also an innovation expected to be a game changer in the execution of asset resolution functions, particularly through the auction sales mechanism, which has previously faced challenges with low public response.

“This programme is designed comprehensively to strengthen the national asset recovery system through data integration and optimisation of economic and social value benefits from assets resulting from law enforcement,” he said.
