Attorney General's Office Team Carries Container Box Following Raid on National Nutrition Agency Office

The Special Crimes Investigation team from the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) was observed carrying a container box after conducting a search at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6). Observations showed three Attorney General’s Office vehicles departing in succession from the BGN Office Complex. One of the vehicles was seen transporting a blue-lidded container box loaded into the rear of the car.

According to reports, the search had been underway since the early hours of Wednesday (3/6) until the convoy of vehicles exited the premises. This raid took place just one day after President Prabowo Subianto dismissed the Head of the BGN, Dadan Hindayana. In addition to Dadan, President Prabowo also removed two Deputy Heads of the BGN, namely Lodewyk Pusung and Sonny Sonjaya.

When asked whether these dismissals were related to alleged bribery practices concerning the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) kitchens or the Nutrition Service Fulfillment Units (SPPG), State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the matter is currently undergoing an internal audit. “Everything is currently in the process of an internal audit. This is part of, once again, the continuous monitoring and evaluation that we conduct,” Prasetyo said at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6).
