Attorney General's Office seizes over Rp1 trillion in Lampung forest corruption case

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has seized over Rp1 trillion in relation to a corruption case involving the exploitation of forest areas in Lampung.

Saiful Bahri Siregar, the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), provided details regarding the alleged corruption involving the use and exploitation of forest areas in Lampung during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta. The authorities have seized Rp1,003,184,000,000 and US$166,000 from PT Pemuka Saksi Manis Indah (PSMI) as part of the legal proceedings regarding the alleged corruption in the use of plantation forest areas within the PT Inhutani V area in Lampung.
