Attorney General's Office Seizes Assets from Corruption Suspect in Mining Permit Case

The Attorney General’s Office has seized a number of assets from a suspect in a corruption case related to mining business permits (IUP). The assets, belonging to SDT alias Aseng, the beneficial owner of PT QSS, include a Lamborghini, a Toyota Fortuner, a Toyota Camry, an excavator, a dump truck, and several plots of land. The seizure was carried out by investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) in Jakarta on Friday. The suspect is implicated in an alleged corruption case involving irregularities in the governance of mining business permits in West Kalimantan between 2017 and 2025.
