Attorney General's Office Secures 10th Unqualified Opinion from BPK RI
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Attorney General’s Office has secured an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK RI) for its 2025 financial statements.
“Alhamdulillah, we have been granted a WTP assessment, and this marks the tenth time the Attorney General’s Office has achieved this,” stated Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in Jakarta on Thursday.
On the same occasion, BPK RI Member Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana noted that achieving the WTP opinion is the result of the hard work of the Attorney General’s Office.
“This opinion is not a gift from us. It is the hard work of the Attorney General and the entire ranks, which reflects four very positive achievements,” he said.
He mentioned that the Attorney General’s Office has met the elements of transparency and has recorded all activities and actions related to the use of state finances.
In those records, he added, the Attorney General’s Office has implemented them in accordance with Government Accounting Standards.
Another achievement is the effectiveness of the Attorney General’s Office’s internal control system. Furthermore, the Attorney General’s Office manages its financial governance by complying with all existing provisions and regulations.
“We observe that the use of state finances by the Attorney General’s Office is not only carried out transparently and accountably, but in our assessment, it has also realised how such usage brings a significant impact to the progress of law enforcement and state revenue,” he remarked.
Furthermore, Nyoman stated that this WTP opinion is not the final goal, but rather a foundation to further strengthen the good governance of state financial usage.
“The hope is that with good governance, both parties will be able to realise the vision and mission of the Attorney General’s Office, certainly in supporting the vision and mission of the President and the vision and mission of the Republic of Indonesia to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045,” he said.
