The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has revealed that two major schemes are currently under investigation in the alleged corruption case concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for 2025-2026. Five suspects have been named in the case.

“For the modus operandi, I have conveyed this previously. So, the major schemes we are currently investigating are in two clusters,” said Director of Investigations for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, at the Round Building of the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta on Friday.

He explained that the first cluster involves the buying and selling of Stasiun Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) kitchen service points. The second cluster concerns the procurement of goods and services. “Now, those two clusters are what we are investigating in parallel,” Syarief stated.

On 3 June 2026, Jampidsus investigators named three former BGN officials as suspects: former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana (DH), former Deputy Head of BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Support Lodewyk Pusung (LP), and former Deputy Head of BGN for Nutrition Fulfilment Operations Sony Sonjaya (SS).

A fourth suspect, Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS), a private party involved in locating SPPG kitchen points, was named on 6 June 2026. The fifth suspect, Andri Mulyono, Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal (YAT), was named on 12 June 2026 for his involvement in the procurement of electric motorcycles for BGN.

“Tonight, we have named a suspect in one of those procurement processes, namely electric motorcycles,” Syarief said. He added that the Attorney General’s Office is continuing to investigate other procurement activities within BGN and will not stop at these five suspects. “There are other procurements that we are still investigating,” he noted.

Examinations of witnesses and suspects are still ongoing. Investigators plan to examine the suspects next week, including Sony Sonjaya regarding his application to become a justice collaborator. “As of today, there are five suspects. For the update, we will conduct examinations of the suspects next week,” Syarief said.
