The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has revealed that individuals DH, SS, and LP engaged in unlawful procurement processes for goods and services within the BGN. Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, Director of Investigation at the Jampidsus division of the Attorney General’s Office, stated on Wednesday (3/6/2026) that the suspects utilised foundations and affiliates to facilitate these illegal activities.

Syarief explained that the procurement plans were drafted without considering actual field requirements. Furthermore, the suspects were accused of inflating prices during the budgeting process. “In the preparation of the Terms of Reference (KAK) for goods and services procurement at BGN, the requirements did not align with real field needs, and there were price markups, resulting in losses that hinder the operational implementation of the MBG programme,” he said.

The Attorney General’s Office disclosed several irregular procurements, including 21,801 units of electric motorcycles with a total value of approximately Rp 1 trillion. Additionally, the procurement of 32,000 pairs of shoes was found to be non-compliant with regulations and subject to markups.

The suspects, including Dadan, also allegedly inflated the prices for tablets and televisions. The investigation found that the procurement of over 31,000 tablets and 5,400 units of 75-inch televisions were both conducted improperly through price markups, resulting in significant financial losses to the state.
