The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has continued its investigation into the alleged corruption surrounding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Investigators are currently working to determine the total amount of profit allegedly enjoyed by the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, alongside two former deputies, Sony Sonjaya and Lodermikus Pusung.

This figure is a primary focus of the investigation, as the funds are suspected to have originated from two distinct sources: the management of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) affiliated with the suspects, and alleged markups in several procurement projects within the BGN. The Director of Investigation for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that the calculation process is still ongoing and the exact total cannot yet be disclosed.

In this case, investigators have uncovered suspected manipulation in the appointment of SPPG development partners. According to regulations, the development of these MBG service points should be managed by foundations connected to the recipient schools. However, investigators suspect that several foundations affiliated with the suspects were able to enter the programme after receiving special treatment during the verification process.

“The appointments were made through the manipulation of the verification process on the BGN partner portal, driven by the intervention of the suspects,” he said.

This alleged deviation is considered to have a significant impact, as each SPPG receives operational incentives from the programme. Investigators suspect that profits from this scheme flowed into foundations affiliated with the suspects. “These foundations receive billions of rupiah in incentives daily, and some are owned by DH, SS, and LP,” he added.

In addition to tracing the flow of SPPG incentives, the Attorney General’s Office is also investigating alleged profits obtained from various goods and services procurement projects within the BGN. Investigators suspect the suspects intervened with Commitment Making Officers (PPK) to ensure that the procurement process was not based on actual field requirements or the proper Terms of Reference (KAK).
