Attorney General's Office Raids National Nutrition Agency Office, Security Tightened
An observation at the BGN office in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6/2026) at approximately 09:40 WIB revealed a quiet atmosphere inside the building. However, outside the premises, security has been tightened with personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and building security on high alert. Several vehicles were seen parked within the building area, and the outer gates remained closed. Employees were reportedly not permitted to access the upper floors of the BGN building.
Prior to today’s raid, Dadan Hindayana was removed from his position as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) on Tuesday (2/6) by President Prabowo. This decision was announced by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi.
‘Today, Tuesday, 2 June 2026, the President has made the decision to change the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency. This includes Mr Dadan Hindayana as Head of the National Nutrition Agency; Mr Lodewyk Pusung as Deputy Head; and Mr Sony Sonjaya as Deputy Head. This decision is accompanied by expressions of gratitude for their hard work and dedication in building the foundations and developing the National Nutrition Agency,’ stated Prasetyo at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Dadan Hindayana was originally inaugurated by Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo, during the final period of his cabinet on Monday (19/8/2024). He was entrusted by Jokowi to lead the BGN, the agency responsible for managing the free nutritious meal programme initiated by Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. To replace him, Prabowo has appointed Naniek S. Deyang as the new Head of the BGN, supported by Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono as deputies.
