The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has raided the offices of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) regarding alleged corruption in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. During the search, the Attorney General’s Office seized several documents and electronic evidence.

The Director of Investigation at the Jampidsus division of the Attorney General’s Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, revealed that the searches were conducted from Tuesday night (2/6) until Wednesday (3/6/2026). As a result, investigators seized important documents as well as electronic evidence belonging to the suspects.

“The results of the search include documents and electronic evidence. There are mobile phones, laptops, and other items,” Syarief stated during a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office’s Round Building in South Jakarta.

Syarief explained that the search locations targeted not only the BGN headquarters in Central Jakarta but also the private residences of the suspects in the case. Three suspects who have been identified and detained are the former Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, the former Deputy Head of BGN, Sony Sonjaya, and the former Deputy Head of BGN, Lodewyk Pusung.

“Since last night, we have been conducting searches in several locations. In addition to the BGN office, there were also the private residences of the suspects. And as of this afternoon, there are still several searches occurring in other locations,” he said.

The three individuals are suspected of committing irregularities in the national priority MBG programme, which has an allocated budget of Rp 85.27 trillion for 2025 and Rp 268 trillion for 2026. The alleged modus operandi involved appointing foundations affiliated with them as partners for the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG).

“The form of affiliation is that these foundations are essentially owned, owned through others, or controlled by the suspects,” Syarief explained.

In addition to the foundation issue, the Attorney General’s Office has detected intervention by the suspects in the procurement of goods and services that did not meet requirements and involved price markups. Syarief noted that all such procurements have already been realised.

The goods caught up in this corruption scandal include the procurement of 21,801 electric motorcycles worth approximately Rp 1 trillion, 32,000 pairs of shoes, 31,000 tablets, and 5,400 75-inch televisions.

“The procurement of goods and services has all been realised. Everything has been realised,” Syarief added.
