The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has announced suspects in the alleged corruption case concerning the procurement of crude oil and refinery products from 2008 to 2015. A total of seven suspects have been named based on sufficient evidence.

“Therefore, today, Thursday, 9 April 2026, the investigative team from the Attorney General’s Office Directorate of Special Crimes Investigation has named seven individuals as suspects,” stated Director of Special Crimes Investigation Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi at the Kejagung office in South Jakarta on Thursday (9/4).

The seven new suspects are initialled BBG, AGS, MLY, NRD, TFK, MRC, and IRW. They are suspected of influencing the tender procurement process for crude oil, refinery products, and transportation.

Kejagung possesses several pieces of evidence related to the collusion in procuring crude oil and refinery products. In this case, the Adhyaksa Corps suspects overpricing in the purchased products.

“Such communications involved conditioning the tender and providing HPS (Estimated Own Price) information, resulting in mark-ups or overpricing because the procurement became non-competitive,” said Syarief.

Kejagung also mentioned tender process manipulations that made the crude oil supply chain longer. Additionally, these dirty games are said to have driven up prices.

“Particularly for Gasoline 88 products, known as Premium 88, and Gasoline 92,” stated Syarief.

Five individuals have been detained in this case. One has been placed under city detention based on the doctor’s examination results.

“As for one suspect named BBG, based on health examination results, city detention has been imposed on the individual,” said Syarief.

The state losses in this case are still being calculated. Kejagung will provide further information later.

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named seven individuals as suspects, including politician Riza Chalid, in the alleged corruption case of crude oil and refinery product procurement at Pertamina or Petral.

Founder of PT AKT, Samin Tan (ST), has been named as a suspect in this case. Investigators have already detained Samin Tan for the first 20 days.

This case previously implicated Central Kalimantan conglomerate Samin Tan as a suspect.
