Attorney General's Office Names Dadan Hindayana a Suspect in MBG Program Corruption Case

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named the former head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, as a suspect in the investigation of alleged corruption regarding the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. Additionally, the Attorney General’s Office has named two former deputy heads of the BGN, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung, as suspects in the same case.

This designation was announced by the Director of Investigation at the Attorney General’s Office for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, during a press conference in front of the Jampidsus Building, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/6/2026).

“After undergoing a series of examinations, Mr. DH, Mr. SS, and Mr. LP were interrogated as witnesses. Based on sufficient evidence obtained by the investigative team, the investigators have designated Mr. DH, as the head of the National Nutrition Agency; Mr. SS, as the deputy head of the National Nutrition Agency for operational nutrition fulfilment; and Mr. LP, as the deputy head of the National Nutrition Agency for organisational development and institutional relations, as suspects in the investigation of alleged corruption in the governance of the MBG programme at the BGN for the years 2025 to 2026,” stated Syarief.

Previously, Dadan, Sony, and Lodewyk were escorted into the Jampidsus detention vehicle by investigators. They provided no statements to journalists waiting in front of the Jampidsus Building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6/2026).
