Attorney General's Office: Jampidsus Replacement Won't Affect Law Enforcement Process

Rudi Margono has been appointed as the acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) following the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah. The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has confirmed that the change of officials in the Jampidsus post will not affect the legal process by the police that involves Febrie.

‘Following up on the acceptance of Mr Febrie Adriansyah’s resignation from the position of Jampidsus, the Attorney General has appointed Dr Rudi Margono, who currently serves as Junior Attorney General for Supervision, to carry out duties as Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes,’ said Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum) Anang Supriatna in a statement on Saturday (11/7/2026).

Anang confirmed that the legal process is being conducted professionally, independently, and in accordance with statutory regulations. ‘We emphasise that this change of leadership will not affect the law enforcement process. All handling of special crime cases continues to run professionally, independently, and in accordance with the provisions of the law,’ he said.

Febrie Adriansyah has resigned from the position of Jampidsus at the Attorney General’s Office. Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has accepted Febrie Adriansyah’s resignation. ‘Today, Saturday, 11 July 2026, the Attorney General has accepted the resignation of Mr Febrie Adriansyah from his position as Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. This decision is a form of commitment to maintaining the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of the law enforcement process, in line with the legal process being conducted by the Indonesian National Police,’ said Anang Supriatna on Saturday (11/7).
