Attorney General's Office Issues New Investigation Orders for Former Jampidsus in Three Graft Cases
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has issued new investigation orders (sprindik) for three corruption cases involving a former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) with the initials FA. The cases, which were transferred from the Indonesian National Police, include alleged corruption at PT Krakatau, coal governance irregularities at a power plant, and corruption at PT Asabri and PT Jiwasraya for the 2020–2025 period. Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated that all pro-justitia actions have now shifted to AGO investigators, who will collaborate with the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) and the Metro Jaya Regional Police. The investigation will also be supervised by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the House of Representatives’ Commission III. The AGO will review the existing evidence and the status of the two suspects, FA and a private party identified as DR, before proceeding further.
