Attorney General's Office Investigates Allegations of Case Manipulation by Aspidum in South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office

Director of Investigation at Jampidsus, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, confirmed that Aspidum Atang Pujiyanto is indeed being handled by Jampidsus. They are addressing Atang’s case following the transfer from the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas). “Yes, we are checking it first, we are studying it first,” said Syarief to reporters at the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday (13/5/2026). Syarief also emphasised that Atang’s case has entered the investigation stage. They have also reviewed what is already known from Jamwas. “Yes, yes (investigating),” explained Syarief. It is known that Atang Pujiyanto has undergone examination at the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision. That examination is suspected to be related to the handling of cases during his tenure as Head of the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office.
