JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the handover of funds from administrative fines and state financial recoveries amounting to Rp 11.4 trillion.

The handover was conducted by the Attorney General’s Office to the Ministry of Finance on Friday (10/4/2026).

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin handed over the funds to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The total value reached Rp 11,420,104,815,858.

Purbaya stated that this additional funding strengthens the government’s fiscal room. The bulk of the funds comes from non-tax state revenues.

“We are getting richer with another Rp 11.4 trillion,” Purbaya said at the Attorney General’s Office.

“We can use it, perhaps mostly for development programmes that were cut previously,” Purbaya added.

The funds also have the potential to be allocated to various sectors. Priorities include law enforcement, education, and education endowment funds.

“Including for the Attorney General’s Office, including schools, later some for LPDP perhaps, but not much. But this isn’t finished yet, there are still many more, there will be more in the future, so it’s safe,” he said.

Purbaya emphasised that this addition is not the last. The government still has the potential to receive similar revenues in the future.

The fund handover is part of the activities of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force. This programme includes administrative fines and the reclamation of forest areas.

Non-tax state revenues from corruption handling amounted to Rp 1.96 trillion. Tax deposits from January to April 2026 reached Rp 967.7 billion.

Tax deposits from PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara were recorded at Rp 108.5 billion. Environmental fines contributed Rp 1.14 trillion.

All the funds have entered the state treasury and serve as additional financing for the government budget.
