The Attorney General’s Office handed over Rp 10.2 trillion, consisting of administrative fines and confiscated assets from cases, to the state treasury. President Prabowo Subianto expressed appreciation for the handover and stated that it should not be regarded as a performance or show.

“I convey my thanks to all members of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force. I think, colleagues, events like this should not be considered ceremonies or shows,” said Prabowo at the Attorney General’s Office in South Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

He stated that the Indonesian people want to see proof of the government’s performance. He mentioned that the people are bored with just welcome speeches.

“The Indonesian people have reached a stage where our people want to see proof. I have felt this for too long; I myself have been Indonesian for quite some time. I feel that our people are somewhat bored hearing speeches and exhortations,” he said.

He stated that the people must see direct proof of law enforcement. This includes the handover of Rp 10.2 trillion carried out today.

“So our people must see, here is the money, today Rp 10 trillion,” he said.

Prabowo then recounted his visits to several regions. He said that the Minister of Health mentioned there are thousands of puskesmas that need repair. Prabowo stated that the confiscated assets money would be used to repair the puskesmas.

“We need approximately Rp 20 trillion, colleagues; today, this means we can complete 5,000 puskesmas with Rp 10 trillion,” he said.
