Attorney General's Office Examines Foundations and Experts Regarding Free Nutritious Meal Programme Corruption Case
The investigative team from the Directorate of Investigation of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) is continuing its investigation into alleged corruption regarding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme within the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period. Investigators have interrogated seven witnesses, ranging from foundation representatives to BGN technical experts.
“The investigative team at the Directorate of Investigation, Jampidsus, has conducted investigation activities involving the examination of seven witnesses,” stated the Head of the Public Relations Centre, Anang Supriatna, in a statement on Monday (21/09/2026).
Attorney General’s Office spokesperson Anang Supriatna noted that the examinations were conducted to strengthen the investigative evidence. Anang ensured that the investigation into the MBG management case is being carried out professionally.
“The investigation process is being conducted professionally, independently, and accountably, while maintaining the presumption of innocence and the principle of prudence,” he concluded.
The seven witnesses examined by the Attorney General’s Office today include:
UR, as the equipment provider for the Paslaten and Lopana SPPG kitchens
A, from the CA Foundation
D, from the RMM Foundation
ANR, as a technical expert at the BGN
TAR, from the AHP Foundation
ATP, from the NFIE Foundation
BH, from the IFSR Foundation
For context, the Attorney General’s Office has named seven individuals as suspects in the corruption case involving the BGN for 2025-2026. The suspects range from former BGN officials to the head of a company providing electric motorcycles for the BGN.
The Attorney General’s Office suspects irregularities in the management of the MBG programme, including alleged affiliations between the suspects and the foundations managing the SPPG, as well as suspected price markups in the procurement of electric motorcycles, shoes, tablets, and televisions.

Former Deputy Head of BGN, Sony Sonjaya
Former Deputy Head of BGN, Lodewyk Pusung
Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS), an associate of Sony
Andri Mulyono (AM), Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal (PT YAT), a BGN electric motorcycle provider
Glory Harimas Sihombing, Chairperson of the Indonesia Food Security Review (IFSR) Foundation
Lalu Muhammad Iwan (LMI), Secretary of the Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation at the BGN
