Attorney General's Office Displays Rp 11.4 Trillion, Set to Enter State Treasury
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Attorney General’s Office displayed Rp 11.4 trillion in cash at the Attorney General’s Office complex on Friday (10/4/2026).
The funds are scheduled to be handed over to the state, witnessed by President Prabowo Subianto during the Handover of Administrative Fines and State Financial Rescue, as well as the Reclamation of Forested Areas Phase VI by the Financial State Rescue Task Force.
Kompas.com observations revealed stacks of Rp 100,000 denomination notes arranged in a massive formation, resembling a wall or elongated stage backdrop nearly spanning the entire rear area.
The money appeared neatly stacked in rectangular blocks layered upon one another, creating a structure akin to a red brick wall.
The height of the stacks exceeded that of an adult, reaching approximately three metres.
At the top centre of the stack, a board or label displayed a very large nominal figure, namely over Rp 11.4 trillion.
On several previous occasions, the total displayed amount was not the full sum due to space considerations.
However, on this occasion, it remains unclear whether the exhibited amount precisely equals Rp 11.4 trillion or more.
The total amount to be handed over is Rp 11,420,104,815,858, which will enter the state treasury.
This figure consists of administrative fines in the forestry sector amounting to Rp 7,230,036,440,742, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from handling corruption crimes by the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor’s Office amounting to Rp 1,967,867,845,912, tax deposits for the January–April 2026 period amounting to Rp 967,779,018,290, tax deposits from PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara as of 28 February 2026 amounting to Rp 108,574,203,443, and PNBP from environmental fines amounting to Rp 1,145,847,307,471.
Additionally, the Financial State Rescue Task Force has reclaimed forested areas from the plantation and mining sectors.
In the palm oil plantation sector, since February 2025 until now, the Task Force has reclaimed 5,888,260.07 hectares of forested land.
Meanwhile, in the mining sector, the reclaimed forested area totals 10,257.22 hectares.
