Attorney General urges Prosecutor's Office staff to never stop learning

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has reminded the ranks of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office to continue learning and adapting to face developments in social, technological, and national and global legal dynamics.

“Remember, never stop learning. Respond to every challenge with a fast, precise, and adaptive response. Sensitivity is the key to remaining relevant and trusted, and to being able to provide the best service,” said the Attorney General during the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office at the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office Education and Training Agency, South Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Burhanuddin stated that the world continues to move alongside the progress of the times, while the public is becoming increasingly critical and information-literate.

Therefore, he emphasised that the ranks of the Prosecutor’s Office must not fall behind and must increase their sensitivity to social, technological, and legal developments, both nationally and globally.

On this occasion, Burhanting reminded the staff to always adhere to the Tri Krama Adhyaksa doctrine, namely Satya, Adhi, and Wicaksana, in performing their duties.

These three values signify honesty, perfection, and wisdom, which serve as guidelines for members of the Adhyaksa in executing tasks and handling cases.

“Being honest in assessing, complete in implementing policies, and in speech serves as our guide in handling cases so that every decision made can be truly accounted for, remains impartial, and is free from any intervention,” he said.

“Because the true authority of a law enforcer does not arise from the magnitude of their power, but from the professionalism and justice they demonstrate in every duty they undertake,” he added.

The commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office carries the theme “Restoring Public Trust Through Law Enforcement that is Integrated, Fair, and Humanist”.
