Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has rotated and transferred a number of officials within the Attorney General’s Office, including eight High Prosecutor Office (Kajati) chiefs across various provinces. “This is a routine part of the promotion and rotation process to refresh the organisation and fill vacant positions, in order to improve services to the public, particularly in law services and enforcement,” said Kapuspenkum Kejagung Anang Supriatna on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

The rotation was formalised in a decree signed by Burhanuddin on 22 July 2026. The new appointments are as follows: Teuku Rahmatsyah becomes the High Prosecutor for Aceh; Taufan Zakaria takes over in Lampung; Chatarina Muliana Girsang is the new High Prosecutor for East Kalimantan; and Muhammad Syarifuddin has been appointed High Prosecutor for South Sulawesi. Syarifuddin replaces Sila Haholongan, who has been assigned as Secretary to the Junior Attorney General for Civil and State Administration.

Other new Kajati appointments include Sri Kuncoro for the Yogyakarta Special Region, Sukarman Sumarinton for South Kalimantan, Herry Hermanus Horo for Banten, and Transiswara Adhi for the Riau Islands.
