Attorney General Rotates 14 Heads of Regional Prosecutor's Offices, Including North Sumatra and Central Java

Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanudin has conducted rotations and transfers involving 14 Heads of Regional Prosecutor’s Offices (Kajati) and senior officials at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). The rotations and transfers are detailed in the Decree of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia No. 488 of 2026, dated 13 April 2026, and confirmed by Anang Supriatna, Head of the Legal Information Centre at Kejagung. In the decree, the Attorney General rotated Harli Siregar, previously serving as Kajati for North Sumatra (Sumut), to the position of Inspector III in the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision at the Attorney General’s Office. Meanwhile, the position of Kajati Sumut will be filled by Muhibuddin, who previously held the role of Kajati for West Sumatra. Additionally, Agus Sahat Sampe Tua Lumban Gaol has been rotated from his previous position as Kajati for East Java and promoted to Secretary of the Deputy Attorney General for General Criminal Affairs at the Attorney General’s Office. Following his departure, the position of Kajati for East Java is now held by Abdul Qohar, who was previously Kajati for Southeast Sulawesi. Furthermore, the Attorney General rotated Hermon Dekristo, Kajati for West Java, to Secretary of the Deputy Attorney General for Military Criminal Affairs at the Attorney General’s Office. The position of Kajati for West Java will be filled by Sutikno, previously Kajati for Riau. In addition to Kajati positions, the Attorney General rotated Riono Budisantoso from Director of Prosecution at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office to Kajati for Bangka Belitung Islands. The following is the list of the 14 new Kajati appointments by the Attorney General: 1. Abdul Qohar AF as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for East Java; 2. Sugeng Riyanta as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Southeast Sulawesi; 3. Sila Haholongan as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for South Sulawesi; 4. Riono Budisantoso as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Bangka Belitung Islands; 5. Sutikno as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for West Java; 6. I Dewa Gede Wirajana as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Riau; 7. Muhibuddin as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for North Sumatra; 8. Dedie Tri Hariyadi as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for West Sumatra; 9. Zullikar Tanjung as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Central Sulawesi; 10. Teguh Subroto as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Central Java; 11. Budi Hartawan Panjaitan as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for West Sulawesi; 12. Sumurung Pandapotan Simaremare as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Gorontalo; 13. Setiawan Budi Cahyono as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Bali; 14. Saiful Bahri Siregar as Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office for Bengkulu.
