Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin has carried out a rotation and transfer of 29 officials within the Adhyaksa Corps, including key positions in the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). The reshuffle is formalised in Attorney General Decree Number 381, dated 22 July 2026.

Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, confirmed the changes, stating that the rotation is a routine part of the promotion process and organisational refreshment, as well as filling vacant positions. “This is a normal part of the promotion and rotation process for organisational refreshment and to fill several vacant posts,” he said via text message on Wednesday. “It is in the interest of smooth public service, particularly in legal services and law enforcement,” he added.

In the reshuffle, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi was removed from his position as Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. He has been reassigned as Director III at the Junior Attorney General for Intelligence. His position is now filled by Rinaldi Umar, who previously served as Deputy Head of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office. Rinaldi was notably part of ‘Team 9’, which handled the corruption case of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah.

Additionally, Burhanuddin rotated Muhammad Syarifuddin from Director of Operations Control at Jampidsus to Head of the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor’s Office. Syarifuddin’s former role is now held by Erich Folanda, who was previously Deputy Head of the Central Java High Prosecutor’s Office. The Attorney General also rotated two Coordinators within Jampidsus, Dandeni Herdiana and Andi Suharlis.
