JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has emphasised that the stack of money worth Rp 10.27 trillion displayed during the Task Force for Forest Area Regulation (Satgas PKH) event at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026) is not merely ceremonial.

According to Burhanuddin, the money stack, arranged in a pyramid-like formation, constitutes concrete evidence of law enforcement efforts and the recovery of state assets from the forestry and natural resources sectors.

“Therefore, this stack of money in front of us is not just part of the ceremony, but rather concrete proof of the Satgas PKH’s performance in protecting national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” said Burhanuddin while reporting to President Prabowo Subianto at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

On that occasion, Burhanuddin reported that Satgas PKH handed over money from forest area regulation worth Rp 10,270,051,886,464 to the state through the Ministry of Finance.

The funds came from administrative fines in the forestry sector and the results of Satgas PKH’s supervision related to PBB and non-PBB taxes.

“Today, as a manifestation of transparency and accountability of performance to the public, we are reporting and handing over the money from the follow-up of forest area regulation by Satgas PKH to the state,” said Burhanuddin.

Meanwhile, the Satgas PKH results allocated for PBB and non-PBB taxes reached Rp 6.84 trillion.

In addition to the handover of money, Satgas PKH also reported the success of reclaiming millions of hectares of forest areas.

Burhanuddin stated that since Satgas PKH was formed in February 2025, the government has reclaimed forest areas in the palm oil plantation sector covering 5,889,141.31 hectares.

Meanwhile, for the mining sector, the area of forest reclaimed successfully reached 12,371.58 hectares.

In this seventh phase, Satgas PKH handed back forest area land covering 2,373,171.75 hectares to the government through the Ministry of Finance before it is forwarded to the Nusantara Future Investment Management Agency and then managed by PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara.

“Thus, when accumulated in the seventh phase, PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara has received the handover of reclaimed forest land from Satgas PKH covering 4,120,915.75 hectares,” he said.
