Attorney General Issues 7 Directives on Prosecutor's Office Anniversary

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin delivered seven daily directives to serve as guidelines for all members of the Adhyaksa (Prosecutor’s Office) during the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office at the Training and Education Agency (Badiklat) in South Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/9).

Firstly, the Attorney General commanded the Prosecutor’s Office ranks to implement divine values in every execution of duties and decision-making processes.

Secondly, the ranks are directed to restore the honour and dignity of the Prosecutor’s Office as a law enforcement institution that provides benefits and justice to the community.

Thirdly, the Prosecutor’s Office is instructed to support the ‘Asta Cita’ (Eight Goals) and ensure the success of priority programmes and Presidential directives, in accordance with the duties and functions of the Prosecutor’s Office, to realise a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.

Fourthly, the Attorney General ordered his subordinates to use their conscience in performing the duties and functions of the Prosecutor’s Office professionally, while upholding the values of truth and justice.

Fifthly, the Prosecutor’s Office is requested to build harmonious synergy and realise productive collaboration between ministries, agencies, and all stakeholders.

Sixthly, the Attorney General commanded his ranks to uphold simplicity in their duties and social interactions in daily life as a reflection of the integrity and exemplary nature of the Adhyaksa personnel.

Seventhly, the Prosecutor’s Office ranks are directed to increase sensitivity to societal dynamics and legal developments, and to act swiftly and accurately in facing changing situations.

Furthermore, the Attorney General invited all members of the Adhyaksa to use the commemoration of the Prosecutor’s Office Anniversary as a turning point to renew their spirit of service and dedication to the nation and state.

“We are the spearhead of law enforcement, and we are also the guardians of legal sovereignty,” he said.

He also expressed his gratitude for the contributions of all Adhyaksa personnel.

“Continue to work with great enthusiasm, continue to maintain integrity, and continue to fight to realise justice in this country,” he said.

The 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office carries the theme “Restoring Public Trust Through Integrity-driven, Just, and Humanist Law Enforcement”.
