The event forms part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the governance of natural resources and ensure the optimisation of state revenues.

“Alhamdulillah, today we report the following. First, the handover of funds. Furthermore, Burhanuddin, who is also the Deputy Head of the Satgas PKH Steering Committee, stated that Satgas PKH has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the law while addressing leaks in state wealth derived from Indonesia’s natural resources.

“Therefore, this pile of money in front of us is not merely ceremonial, but concrete evidence of Satgas PKH’s performance in protecting national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” he said.

“This aligns with the government’s spirit through Satgas PKH in returning state control over lands in forest areas and state revenues, aiming to realise the nation’s ideals where natural wealth is utilised as much as possible for the broad interests of society,” he continued.

On this occasion, Burhanuddin also expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to all members of Satgas PKH for their dedication, hard work, and commitment in safeguarding forest sovereignty and protecting Indonesia’s natural wealth from various forms of misuse and leaks that harm the state.

“The achievements attained represent the tangible presence of the state in upholding the law and ensuring that natural resource management is carried out in an orderly, fair manner, and prioritises national interests,” said Burhanuddin.

On this momentum, he also conveyed the joint commitment of Satgas PKH with the following details:

  1. There must be no more leaks in state wealth that harm national interests and public welfare

  2. There must be no more control of natural resources by a handful of parties that ignore principles of justice and benefits for society

  3. There must be no more control that exploits Indonesia’s wealth illegally and funnels money abroad

“Law enforcement must be present firmly and must not yield to any power. Every inch of natural wealth controlled illegally must be returned to the state. And every rupiah that is the right of the people must be ensured to return as much as possible for the prosperity and welfare of the Indonesian people,” said Burhanuddin.
