Attorney General Delivers 57 Sacrificial Cows for Eid al-Adha

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin delivered 57 sacrificial cows for the Prosecution Service’s Eid al-Adha observance on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

The ceremony took place at the Main Building of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta.

“I hope the sacrificial animals distributed will bring widespread benefits, ease burdens, and bring joy to recipients,” Burhanuddin said in a statement on Tuesday.

He urged all members of the Prosecution Service to uphold Islamic teachings through the sacrificial ritual while sharing happiness with the public.

According to him, the sacrificial ritual has two interrelated dimensions: vertical and horizontal.

The vertical dimension reflects the relationship between humans and God, while the horizontal dimension pertains to human relationships through sharing, strengthening brotherhood, and bringing joy to those in need.

He praised all Prosecution Service personnel for participating in the event.

Burhanuddin stated that such participation embodies unity, solidarity, and the dedication valued as servants of the state and the people.

Closing his remarks, Burhanuddin extended Eid al-Adha greetings to all members of the Adhyaksa community celebrating the occasion.
