Attention! CFD at Rasuna Said on 28 June Cancelled

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has announced that the Car Free Day (CFD) activities at the Jalan HR Rasuna Said area, Kuningan, South Jakarta, will be temporarily suspended on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

This policy was implemented to centralise crowds and security measures during the peak celebrations of the 499th anniversary of Jakarta and Bhayangkara Day within the Sudirman-Thamrin axis.

“Because all activities are being concentrated in Sudirman-Thamrin, the Car Free Day in Kuningan or Rasuna Said will be cancelled on the 28th so that everyone can be concentrated at a single point,” Pramono told reporters at the Jakarta City Hall on Friday, 26 June 2026.

Pramono stated that he had received reports of a surge in visitors, not only from Jakarta residents but also from satellite cities such as Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.

Furthermore, several public figures are scheduled to perform as part of the event series.

“I have received reports that people from around Jakarta—whether from Bogor, Bekasi, Tangerang, South Tangerang, or even from further outside the city—will want to attend the Jakarta Anniversary event, which will feature several public figures and well-known musical performers,” he said.

In addition, Pramono announced a special tariff policy for public transport users on 27-28 June. He stated that all public transport modes under the Jakarta Provincial Government will only charge a fare of Rp1 for all Indonesian citizens.

“All transport will be one rupiah, and we are also making all facilities owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government, such as Ragunan, Ancol, museums, and sports centres, free of charge,” he concluded.
