Attending free homecoming, Traffic Corps Chief explains national "one way" system

Agus stated that the national one-way system from KM 70 Cikampek to KM 414 Kalikangkung, Semarang, will be enforced this afternoon. “The national one-way for the homecoming flow from KM 70 to KM 414 is planned to be flagged off today at 12:00 WIB at KM 70,” he said. He urged all road users, especially on toll roads and arterial routes, to drive carefully. “So, no need to rush. As per the statement or tagline from the Chief of Police regarding Operation Ketupat, it is ‘Safe Homecoming, Happy Family’,” he added. The police, he continued, will be present in the field to ensure all journeys, from departing for homecoming to reaching the destination and returning, proceed safely. Furthermore, the two-star police general said that Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly flagged off the departure of participants in the Polri Presisi 2026 Free Homecoming Programme. He hopes that this free homecoming will assist the police in managing traffic flow. “Hopefully, with this homecoming, it will certainly make it easier for us to manage traffic, both on toll roads and arterial routes,” he stated. In the free homecoming programme, Polri has prepared 80 buses with two main destinations, namely Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. A total of 4,009 people are utilising the free homecoming programme to return to their hometowns. Before departure, all bus fleets carrying homecomers have undergone roadworthiness tests (ramp checks) before use. In addition, all bus drivers have undergone various tests to ensure they are in prime condition and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
