Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid has revealed that the 2027 budget will be used to strengthen land services. He explained that the budget will support the implementation of the ministry’s duties and functions, particularly in reinforcing land services, accelerating national strategic programmes, and improving the quality of spatial planning across Indonesia. “In accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, the ATR/BPN Indicative Ceiling for 2027 will be focused on a management support programme amounting to Rp7.31 trillion or 68.9 per cent, a land management and services programme of Rp2.56 trillion or 24.2 per cent, and a spatial planning implementation programme of Rp724 billion or 6.8 per cent,” Nusron stated in Jakarta on Friday. Nusron proposed a budget ceiling of Rp10.6 trillion for the ATR/BPN Ministry’s 2027 Fiscal Year work plan. To strengthen the implementation of national priority programmes, the ATR/BPN Ministry is also proposing an additional budget ceiling for 2027 of Rp3.23 trillion. The additional funds are planned to support personnel expenditure, the preparation of Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR), post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction programmes, and the acceleration of the construction of three million homes. “This is a proposal; if it is approved, alhamdulillah,” said Nusron. “Budget absorption by the ATR/BPN Ministry as of 6 June 2026 amounted to Rp3.18 trillion, or 36.23 per cent. This has increased year on year compared to 2025, which was 35.40 per cent, a rise of 0.9 per cent,” he said.
