ATR/BPN to Accelerate Lippo Cikarang Land Grant Process for 3 Million Homes Programme

The government has received a commitment for a 30-hectare land grant from PT Lippo Cikarang in the Meikarta area to support the 3 Million Homes programme. Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, confirmed that the Ministry of ATR/BPN will accelerate the grant process so the land can be utilised immediately. The land grant commitment was marked by the signing of documents at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, on Monday (29/6). “On behalf of the government, we thank PT Lippo Cikarang for this land grant commitment. Hopefully, this step can serve as an example and be followed by other private parties. Therefore, we are committed to accelerating the grant process so that parties wishing to assist the government are not deterred by an overly lengthy process,” Nusron said in his statement on Monday (29/6/2026). As a concrete step to speed up the grant process, the Ministry of ATR/BPN will immediately coordinate with the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance and related parties to finalise the grant administration process. This will allow the granted land to be promptly used for public housing development. “God willing, tomorrow we will hold a meeting with the ranks and colleagues from the DJKN. We will review the documents, and hopefully, it will be completed in less than a month. As long as the raw materials are clean and clear, whatever we can execute, we will execute immediately,” Nusron stressed. The statement of land grant commitment document was signed by several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, the Head of the Danantara Investment Management Agency, and the Board of Directors of PT Lippo Group. The plan is to build flats for low-income communities on the land located in the Meikarta area, Cikarang. This represents a form of support for the 3 Million Homes programme, which is one of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programmes to improve public access to decent housing.
