ATR/BPN Facing Internal Issues: Secretary General Demands Optimal Public Service

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Secretary General of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Dalu Agung Darmawan, has called upon all departments to continue providing optimal services to the public, despite current issues within the organisation.

“Regardless of the conditions faced by an organisation, land services to the community must continue to run smoothly,” Dalu Agung stated in a confirmed report in Cirebon on Thursday.

To ensure the continuity of land and spatial planning services for the public, the ATR/BPN Secretary General reminded staff to prioritise integrity as a core part of their work culture.

According to him, strengthening supervision is also part of the internal improvement efforts being continuously implemented by the Ministry of ATR/BPN, from the central office down to regional working units (Satker).

To this end, Dalu Agung instructed Administrator Officials to increase attached supervision over all service processes.

He noted that evaluations must be conducted periodically, particularly regarding service points that carry risks of deviations, conflicts of interest, or abuse of authority.

“All working units must maintain public trust by performing their duties professionally, with integrity, and in accordance with statutory regulations,” he said during a meeting with all Heads of Regency/City Land Offices (Kantah) across Indonesia, held both online and offline.

In line with strengthening supervision, the Ministry of ATR/BPN also provides several complaint channels that the public can utilise, including SP4N-LAPOR!, a Hotline, a WhatsApp Complaint line at 0811-1068-0000, and the TUNTAS application.

Members of the public may also submit complaints directly to their local Land Office or BPN Regional Office.

During the meeting, which was attended by several High-Level Primary Officials, the ATR/BPN Secretary General requested that all heads of working units act as role models.

He stated that every leader must set an example in their work and maintain discipline in completing tasks on time.

“All ranks, including working units in Land Offices and Regional Offices, must maintain organisational solidarity and cohesion. All personnel must share the same commitment to upholding institutional values,” he added.
