ATR/BPN Ensures 2027 Budget Planning Will Benefit the Public
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has emphasised that the 2027 budget allocation will be conducted in a measurable and accountable manner, ensuring that all programmes and activities can be felt by the public.
“The success of budget execution is measured not only by the absorption rate but also by the quality of the output. We do not want activities that merely meet targets but lack quality, compliance, and real impact for the community,” said the Secretary-General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Dalu Agung Darmawan, in Jakarta on Monday.
According to him, the 2027 Government Work Plan (RKP) carries the theme “Accelerating Quality Growth through Productivity, Investment, and Industry.”
To this end, Dalu ensured that every programme, activity, and budget within the Ministry of ATR/BPN is directed towards supporting this agenda through the exercise of authority in the fields of land and spatial planning.
As a planner, Dalu stated that everyone must understand the macro perspective; activities such as measurement, mapping, the issuance of certificates, and so forth, in the 2027 activities must be directed towards the pillars of productivity, investment, and industry.
“This support will be implemented through housing financing and the handling of slum settlements, post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction, integrated digital services, ease of licensing, support for strategic areas, and spatial certainty,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Expert Staff for Community Participation and Local Government at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Andi Tenri Abeng, emphasised the importance of internal and external coordination in the implementation of programmes and budgets to ensure the Ministry’s performance can be continuously monitored and accounted for.
A number of ministries, agencies, and stakeholders are also overseeing the achievements of the Ministry of ATR/BPN. Therefore, every work unit needs to maintain coordination and strengthen established cooperation, including with the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Kemenko IPK), the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas.
“I hope that for the cooperation we have built—even though our cooperation with the KPK is still new in six provinces—it will subsequently move to other provinces. For those colleagues whose areas have not yet been visited or where the cooperation between the KPK and Local Governments has not yet been launched, you can certainly adopt what has been implemented in the existing provinces,” he said.
In line with this, performance reporting must be conducted on time and updated regularly so that the progress of programme and budget implementation can be monitored effectively. All work units are also requested to be disciplined in submitting reports and updating data in the Budget Execution Quality Control System (SKMPP).
“Do not tire of providing updated reports to make it easier for us to read your performance. Continuous updates to the reporting system are expected to further facilitate real-time performance monitoring,” added Andi Tenri Abeng.
