ATR/BPN and KPK Strengthen Land Service Transformation in the Regions
Various breakthroughs in the transformation of land and spatial planning services are being implemented gradually, from policy and regulatory aspects, service programmes, to strengthening service infrastructure.
Manado (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) together with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are strengthening synergy in overseeing the transformation of land and spatial planning services in the regions.
“Various breakthroughs in the transformation of land and spatial planning services are being implemented gradually, from policy and regulatory aspects, service programmes, to strengthening service infrastructure,” said Staff Advisor for Community and Regional Government Participation at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Andi Tenri Abeng, during the Coordination Meeting on Optimising Cooperation between the Ministry of ATR/BPN and KPK with Regional Governments across North Sulawesi in Manado City on Tuesday.
He explained that the cooperation includes nine main programmes as the focus, namely the integration of Land Parcel Identification Number (NIB) and Tax Object Number (NOP), integration of land services with the Public Service Mall, acceleration of land registration, and acceleration of Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) preparation integrated into the Online Single Submission (OSS) system.
In addition, other programmes include geospatial-based land census, integration of Sustainable Food Agriculture Areas/Sustainable Food Agriculture Land (KP2B/LP2B) in spatial planning, optimisation of the Agrarian Reform Task Force, development of Land Value Zones (ZNT), and land consolidation for regional development.
“This collaboration is also expected to minimise land conflicts, increase data accuracy, and strengthen regional asset protection,” he said.
On that occasion, a Joint Commitment for Corruption Prevention and Strengthening Regional Economy through Transformation of Public Services in Land and Spatial Planning was also signed between ATR/BPN, KPK, and regional governments across North Sulawesi.
“The ultimate goal is to encourage economic growth and public welfare,” he stated.
This coordination meeting is part of the follow-up to the land service transformation programme launched by Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Nusron Wahid, which emphasises improving the quality of public services, strengthening regional asset governance, and land tenure certainty to support investment.
The entire series of programmes will culminate in a National Declaration involving the KPK, Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Minister of Home Affairs, and regional heads throughout Indonesia.
The coordination meeting was also attended by Director of Coordination and Supervision for Region IV of the KPK Edi Suryanto, the governor, regents, and mayors across North Sulawesi, officials from the Ministry of ATR/BPN, and heads of land offices in the region.
