ATM card left in the machine

On May 21, 2001, at about noon, I withdrew Rp 800,000 at the
BCA ATM in Tania Dispensary, Pondok Kopi. Out of my own
negligence, my ATM card was left in the machine.

After I realized this, I telephoned Tania Dispensary,
inquiring about my ATM card. I was told that it was in safe
keeping at the dispensary. Then on the same day, about 5 p.m., I
collected my ATM card and checked my balance. I was surprised to
find that the another Rp 2,500,000 had been withdrawn and the
withdrawal was made at 12:13 p.m., about two minutes after I
withdrew my money at the ATM.

My suspicions are on a young man wearing a jacket who was
standing behind me. He may have taken advantage of my negligence.

I hope this will be a good lesson to all ATM card holders.
