Atalla names local agent

JAKARTA (JP): Atalla System, a banking security system
producer of the United States has appointed PT Secura Agradi to
distribute Atalla's products throughout Indonesia.

Secura's director Andy Sutedja said the distribution agreement
was signed recently to anticipate a rapid growth in Indonesia's
banking industry.

"The agreement will enable Atalla to better serve existing
customers and to participate more directly in the growing
electronic banking and Internet security market in Indonesia," he
said.

U.S based Atalla, founded in 1972, focuses on design,
manufacture and support secure on-line transaction automation
systems for financial, retail and business applications.

Its products include security processors, PIN (Personal
Identification Number) selection terminals, check readers and
customer authorization. (gis)
