At Least Seven US Military Aircraft Spotted Over Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman

At least seven US military aircraft have been detected in the airspace over the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, according to an analysis of flight data conducted by RIA Novosti. Three aircraft are currently positioned over Saudi Arabia, one is flying over the Persian Gulf, and another is in the airspace of the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, one aircraft was observed over the Gulf of Oman, while another was located over the Persian Gulf near the coast of Qatar. Earlier on the same day, US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it had launched strikes against several targets in Iran in retaliation for an alleged attack by Tehran on a commercial vessel transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
