ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20 launches with more precise controls
Jakarta (ANTARA) - ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, a new handheld gaming PC featuring an OLED display and more precise controls.
“An OLED display and more precise controls are two of the things people have requested most, and both are now available on the ROG Xbox Ally X20,” ASUS Indonesia Technical Public Relations representative Adrian Pradipta said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 uses an eight-core AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor and an AMD Radeon 890M GPU to support graphics performance. The portable device is equipped with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
It has a 7.4-inch OLED display with FHD resolution (1,920 x 1,080) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1400, Dolby Vision and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and features a Corning DXC anti-reflective coating for comfortable use in bright rooms.
The device is equipped with magnetic-sensor-based TMR joysticks, which are claimed to prevent wear-related problems and save power. It also has a Transforming D-pad that can switch between four-way and eight-way modes, ABXY buttons, bumpers and Hall Effect analogue triggers with HD Haptics.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 has an 80Wh battery and ROG Intelligent Cooling dual-fan cooling system.
The special edition marking ROG’s 20th anniversary features a distinctive transparent black chassis with gold accents and a ROG 20th Anniversary badge.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle also includes ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 augmented reality (AR) glasses, which can project a virtual screen of up to 171 inches at a distance of four metres. The package includes an exclusive Pelican Protector Case and accessories such as a Killswitch case, circuit-pattern skin, travel cover and stick grips.
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle is priced at Rp46,999,000. During the pre-order period, which runs until 30 October 2026, the device can be purchased through the ASUS Online Store and ROG Exclusive Store for Rp45,999,000.
