Asuransi Astra, Amway tie up

JAKARTA (JP): PT Asuransi Astra Buana, a subsidiary of Astra
International, and PT Amindoway Jaya, the sole distributor of
Amway products in Indonesia, have formed a strategic alliance to
expand their networks and services, the companies announced on
Monday.

Amindoway President Frank D. Reuneker said the initial program
of the alliance was to provide an insurance service at specially
discounted rates for Amway distributors in the country.

He said the two companies would continue to explore new
strategies, alliances and programs to enhance mutual
opportunities.

Amway, one of the world's largest direct selling companies,
markets over 200 products through its independent distributors in
Indonesia. (das)
