Astranauts 2026: Accelerating Digital Transformation to Strengthen the National Economy
Astra is once again organising Astranauts 2026, a national-scale digital innovation competition and technology conference from Astra. This annual programme aims to gather fresh ideas and innovative solutions that can address real business challenges and deliver impact for Indonesia’s digital economy.
This year, Astranauts carries the theme “ACCELERATE 2026: From Pilot to Business Transformation, Boosting Efficiency and Unlocking New Value”, a strategic step to accelerate the transition of innovations from the idea stage to impactful business implementation.
The programme seeks solutions to various business challenges within the Astra Group, while presenting digital solutions that are not only technologically innovative but also capable of enhancing operational efficiency and delivering tangible impacts for Indonesia’s industries and society.
“Astranauts 2026 reflects Astra’s commitment to focusing on scalability. We are not just talking about prototypes, but how those solutions can be adopted by businesses, improve efficiency, and create value for business,” said Astra’s Chief of Group Digital Strategy Paul Soegianto in a press release on Friday (8/5/2026).
Astranauts 2026 opens opportunities for innovators to tackle business challenges from Astra Group companies. Additionally, Astranauts features a Cross-Industry Challenge seeking innovative solutions that can contribute to eight areas: Automotive & Mobility, Financial Services, Heavy Equipment, Mining, Construction & Energy, Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Information Technology, Property, and Health. Participant registration is open from 7 May to 14 June 2026 via the official website astradigital.id/astranauts.
The Astranauts 2026 competition is open to two participant categories: Product Track, for companies and startups that already have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and traction; and Idea Track, for active undergraduate and postgraduate students, expected to provide innovative ideas to solve the given business challenges.
Astranauts 2026 finalists will receive mentoring from experts and industry leaders, as well as the opportunity to present their innovations to judges at the Demo Day on 20 July 2026. Finalists will also have chances to collaborate with the Astra Group, secure internship opportunities (for students), and win cash prizes. The announcement of winners and awarding session will take place on 21 July 2026 at Catur Dharma Hall, Menara Astra, Jakarta.
As part of the awarding sessions, Astranauts 2026 will also host the Astranauts Conference, an interactive discussion featuring experts from various industries to address current trends and challenges, with engaging speakers such as Gita Wirjawan, Raditya Dika, Anthony Amni, Gaery Undarsa, Daniel Minardi, and others.
At the same time, a Digital & Technology Exhibition will be held as a platform for showcasing and collaboration between corporations and technology communities in presenting innovative solutions and ideas for the future.
Involving not only various Astra Group companies, Astranauts 2026 also partners with external companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Berca Hardayaperkasa, and others.
