Astra has won awards in human resources management at the HR Asia Best Companies To Work For In Asia 2026 event. At the awards ceremony held on Friday (5/6/2026), Astra, along with several Astra Group companies, successfully secured multiple accolades simultaneously. At the event, Astra won the main award, HR Asia Best Companies To Work For In Asia 2026. In addition, the company also received the HR Asia People Transformation Awards 2026 and the HR Asia Sustainable Workplace Awards 2026. Not only Astra, a number of entities under the Astra Group also received similar awards. These include Toyota Astra Motor, FIFGROUP, Astra Credit Companies, Surya Artha Nusantara Finance, and United Tractors. HR Asia gives awards to companies in Asia that are considered to consistently implement best HR practices, build employee engagement, and create a positive and sustainable work environment. The event involved approximately 2.5 million respondents and 20,000 companies from various Asian countries. As many as 20 percent of participants came from companies listed in the Fortune Global 500 Companies. Astra’s Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development, Matilda Esther Rotinsulu, said the award serves as motivation for the company to continue providing a work environment that supports employee development. “We interpret this award as encouragement to continue providing a work environment that supports every Astra individual in developing their best potential,” she said. The award is part of Astra’s journey in building HR quality as the company approaches its seventh decade. Astra is currently supported by 322 subsidiaries and more than 190,000 employees. In an effort to strengthen diversity and inclusion in the work environment, Astra runs a number of programmes. One of these is the Astra Women’s community, which serves as a platform for collaboration, development, and learning for female employees within the Astra Group. The community has now grown to more than 3,000 members from various companies within the Astra Group. In addition, Astra also runs the Diversity Awareness Programme for Astra’s Leaders to increase understanding of diversity at the leadership level.
