Astra Otoparts Expands Modern Automotive Retail Network on West Java's North Coast

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Astra Otoparts Tbk has strengthened its business and service reach in developing regions by inaugurating a new Shop & Drive outlet in Haurgeulis in early May 2026. This marks the second Shop & Drive outlet in Indramayu, following the previous Sudirman location.

Martogi Siahaan, Director of Astra Otoparts, said the Haurgeulis Shop & Drive opening is part of the company’s strategy to get closer to customers, particularly in areas with high economic growth potential and vehicle mobility. “We have observed increased vehicle traffic in Indramayu, so the second outlet aims to provide faster, more convenient, and accessible automotive services for the public,” he said on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

In addition to being a strategic route for private and commercial vehicles, Indramayu continues to develop through industrial, port, and energy and logistics activities, driving increased demand for automotive services. According to regional investment data, Indramayu Regency recorded actual investment of Rp 1.58 trillion, driven by the wholesale trade and motor vehicle repair sectors.

Referring to Statistics Indonesia’s 2025 data, Indramayu is one of the regencies along the Pantura route with 42,251 passenger cars, making it one of the largest alongside Cirebon’s 60,855 units. “Given this market potential, Astra Otoparts is strengthening its retail network along West Java’s Pantura route. Besides the two outlets in Indramayu, Shop & Drive has six stores in Cirebon as part of its strategy to expand access to modern automotive aftermarket services in high-vehicle-mobility areas,” he said.

To date, Astra Otoparts’ Shop & Drive retail network has over 400 outlets across Indonesia, offering modern automotive services such as fast-moving spare parts replacement, battery home delivery, and oil home delivery services.
