Astra launches “kick-off” for SATU Indonesia Awards 2026, embracing the theme “Connected in Action”
Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Astra International Tbk held the “kick-off” for the Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk Indonesia Awards, or 17th SATU Indonesia Awards 2026, with the theme “Connected in Action” in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/4).
Head of Corporate Communications at Astra, Windy Riswantyo, stated that the theme “Connected in Action” was chosen because Astra hopes not only to find inspirational young people but also to ensure that every initiative born from them can connect, grow, and deliver real, widespread impact for society.
“More than just an appreciation event, this (17th SATU Indonesia Awards 2026) has become a space for nurturing good intentions, courage, and consistency among young people in delivering real solutions for their surroundings through fields such as health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, and economy,” said Windy.
This year, Astra is further strengthening the synergy between two of its flagship social contribution programmes: SATU Indonesia Awards and Desa Sejahtera Astra. To date, SATU Indonesia Awards has produced 792 inspirational young generations who contribute in various fields, including health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, and technology. Meanwhile, Desa Sejahtera Astra has nurtured 1,533 villages spread across 35 provinces in Indonesia.
Through this synergy, Astra encourages SATU Indonesia Awards recipients to play roles as local champions in supporting the development of Desa Sejahtera Astra. Thus, the various initiatives produced by these change agents are expected to deliver broader and more sustainable social impacts for society.
“SATU Indonesia Awards produces many change drivers. Meanwhile, Desa Sejahtera Astra has a network of nurtured villages spread across Indonesia. When these two programmes are brought together, the potential social impact generated can be far broader and more sustainable,” added Windy.
Astra believes that if ideas and youth concerns are connected in action, greater positive change will emerge for Indonesia.
“We hope that more inspirations will be born and provide benefits, involving even more inspirations from this 17th SATU Indonesia Awards 2026 kick-off event,” she concluded.
