Astra International to Maintain Dividend Payout Ratio at 45-50 Per Cent for 2026
The President Director of PT Astra International Tbk (ticker: ASII), Rudy Chen, stated that the company will maintain its dividend payout ratio for 2026 within the range of 45-50 per cent. For 2026, ASII distributed cash dividends totalling Rp 15.66 trillion for the 2025 financial year. This amount is equivalent to 47.82 per cent of the 2025 net profit, which reached Rp 32.76 trillion.
“We recognise that dividends are very important, so we will maintain or prioritise a dividend payout ratio in the 45-50 per cent range,” Rudy said during the 2026 Public Expose Live press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
The dividend consists of an interim dividend of Rp 98 per share, totalling Rp 3.96 trillion, which was paid on 31 October 2025. Furthermore, the company distributed a final dividend of Rp 292 per share, totalling Rp 15.7 trillion, paid on 25 May 2026.
The decision regarding the dividend distribution was ratified through the 2026 ASII Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS).
In terms of performance, ASII recorded consolidated net revenue of Rp 157.9 trillion in the first half of 2026, a 3 per cent decrease compared to the same period the previous year. ASII’s net profit, excluding non-recurring items, was recorded at Rp 14.9 trillion, representing a 7 per cent year-on-year decline.
This decline in profit was primarily influenced by lower contributions from the Mining Solutions & Heavy Equipment business. This condition was caused by minimal contributions from the gold mining division, a decrease in heavy equipment sales, and a drop in volume within the mining services and coal mining businesses.
