Astra International Officially Appoints New President Director, Here is the Latest Board Composition

JAKARTA - PT Astra International Tbk has reshuffled its board of directors during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Central Jakarta on Thursday (23/4/2026). This step is part of a management refresh amid increasingly competitive business dynamics, including in the automotive sector. One of the decisions at the AGMS was the appointment of Rudy as the company’s President Director, replacing Djony Bunarto Tjondro. In addition, Astra has added two new directors, namely Siswadi and Djap Tet Fa. Astra has prioritised internal promotions to maintain continuity of the company’s culture and values. “If from within, they are already familiar with the values and culture, so they can continue the existing relay baton,” said Rudy in a presentation after the AGMS. He explained that the two newly appointed directors have long experience within the Astra environment. Siswadi previously worked in the financial services sector, while Djap Tet Fa is known for his experience in the agribusiness line. This reshuffle is taking place amid increasingly complex industry challenges, including pressures in the automotive sector due to increasingly tight competition and technological changes towards electrification.
